VOL.2-219
MC & MG with PFT
Service conditions related to MG (COT)
1.
Virtual Trunk for MG (COT) occupies one group. Therefore, the group to which Virtual Channel of MG
(COT) has been assigned cannot be used for other Trunk. The Virtual Trunk can be assigned for Virtual
PIR.
2.
Number of MG (COT) that can be accommodated to one system depends on the maximum number of IP
terminal that is controlled by Internal PHI-BRI.
3.
Only Push Button signal is sent to Trunk Line. Dial Pulse is not used.
4.
MG (COT) does not supervise the condition such as Trunk failure. Therefore, MG (COT) can originate a
call regardless of Trunk failure. (As far as MG (COT) works correctly.) This condition is same as the con-
ventional COT.
5.
Internal PHI-BRI and MG (COT) is connected via UDP/IP. Therefore, Routine Diagnosis is performed
originally. System Message [33-R] is output when failure is detected.
6.
System Message [33-R] is output when control packet is sent and connection failure is detected. The mes-
sage is output when timeout of control packet transmission timer occurred eight times or more continu-
ously. The transmission timer value is changed/modified by ASYDL command (SYS 1, INDEX 884, bit0
PHI Re-transmission timer). After modifying the data, reset the buffer or initialize the data by ADPM
command.
7.
When LCR data has been assigned, it is activated if any failure that is described in conditions 5 and 6
occurs.
8.
IP address and Subnet Mask of Internal PHI-BRI are LAN1 IP address (ACT) of the Telephony Server.
Port number is modified by ADTM command (default is 64000, shown as “Internal PHI-BRI”). Modified
data is automatically reflected on System Data (
). Port number of “Internal PHI-BRI” is shared
with that of “Internal PHI-PRI”.
Note 1:
After modifying the data, initialize the data or reset the buffer by ADPM command. Data is reflected to Sys-
tem Data after this assignment.
9.
Assign Quality of Service (QoS) setting for Internal PHI-BRI in ALOCL command. (LOC-ID=0) Assign
QoS of signaling packet for MG (COT) in AMGIL command, and QoS of voice packet in AMGVL/
AIVCL command.
10. PAD value and Echo Canceler data assigned in AMGVL/AIVCL has a priority.
11. Assign CODEC in AMGVL command (If AMGVL data is not assigned, AIVCL data is applied). For
available payload type/payload size, refer to Peripheral Equipment Description, Volume 1, Chapter 2,
“3.1.1 Bandwidth Required for Voice Traffic.” When both command data are not assigned, default setting
is applied (default setting is G.711- 40ms).
12. When Payload Type is specified by AMGVL/AIVCL, A
/
μ
-law setting assigned by AMGIL is applied.
System Data is not applied (ASYD SYS1 INDEX 63 bit 0 A
/
μ
-law for TSW). When A-law MG (COT)
and
μ
-law MG (COT) are connected, A-law is applied. When MG (COT) is connected via CCIS over IP,
refer to Data Programming Manual - Business (PEER TO PEER BANDWIDTH CONTROL [P-75]) for
A/
μ
-law setting.
