MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGJ]
* When Multipoint mode is enabled by using “set mp_mode” command, the “set sip_server” com-
mand is not required.
If any of these items have not been assigned when saving the running configuration data, the fol-
lowing message will be displayed to the unassigned item. When these messages are displayed, you
can select if you want to set the default configuration data or not. If you select “Y” here, the default
values are applied to the configuration data.

After the MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGJ] is rebooted, the following message appears on the Maintenance
Console.

Connecting MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGJ] to LAN and WAN
• Connect MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGJ] to LAN and WAN.
Connect a cable to “LAN” connector (LAN side: Ether1 WAN side: Ether2) that is located on the
front panel of MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGJ].
Note:
Before connecting MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGJ] to the network you actually use, make sure of
the following by using commands such as “ping”.
•Is not the IP address set to MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGJ] already used in the network to be con-
nected?
•Is the newly set IP address correct?
The following setting commands are not
perfect.
The following is displayed:
“set ipaddress” command.(IPX side)
if IP address for the system side has not been
assigned
“set ipaddress” command.(SIP side)
if IP address for SIP network side has not
been assigned
“set drsaddress” command.
if IP address of DRS has not been assigned
“set sip_server” command.
if IP address of SIP proxy server has not been
assigned
“set keynumber” command.
if a pilot number has not been assigned
So, Config data is made a default setup.
Is it all right? Y/N=y
Select if you want to apply the default values
to the configuration data.
y: apply the default values
n: do not apply the default values
If other than the above is selected, the follow-
ing message is displayed.
“Reboot” command was interrupted.
