MG(PRI) (2M) [SCA-30PRIA/MG-30PRIA]
15.1.4 Service Conditions
1.
MG(PRI) occupies four groups (1HW) of virtual speech channel. One HW (32 channels) can only be used
as virtual speech channel of MG(PRI) even when only one channel is assigned.
The virtual speech channel of MG(PRI) cannot coexist in the same HW with the virtual speech channel of
other type of MG devices. Also the virtual speech channel cannot coexist in the same HW with the virtual
speech channel of CCIS over IP using Internal PHC.
2.
Virtual speech channel (Bch and Dch) can be assigned to Virtual PIR (Assign with ASYDL SYS1
INDEXes 556 and 557).
3.
Dch cannot be shared by multiple MG(PRI)s.
4.
Voice communication and unrestricted digital data transmission in supported by MG(PRI). Only 64kbps
data transmission is supported. 128kbps data transmission, H0 switching, Dch packet, and Bch packet are
not supported.
5.
When FAX communication is used via MG(PRI), assign the following data by ARTI/ARTIN command.
- CDN71: FXD (IP FAX data)
- CDN72: FXJS (Jitter Buffer size of IP FAX)
- CDN73: FXPT (Payload type for IP FAX)
- CDN74: FXPS (Payload size for IP FAX)
6.
The connection via NAT (Network Address Translation), IP masquerade, internet connection, and dial-up
access are not supported.
7.
Available interface is limited to Q.931, and only the public ISDN network can be used. The connection to
private ISDN line and PRI terminal is not supported.
8.
The fault detection for ISDN line is operated in the same way as that in the ordinary ISDN lines (both
Layer 1 and Layer 2). Call origination/termination cannot be activated during network failure.
9.
CODEC is assigned by AMGVL command. G.711 and 40 milliseconds are supplied default. Payload type
and size need to be assigned after you confirm the setting condition of MG(PRI). (Contact your local NEC
dealer for further information.)
10. Assign the different route numbers for MG(PRI) SIP Mode, for MG(PRI) Proprietary Mode, for PRT cir-
cuit card respectively.
11. Timing processing of guard timer for originating call is dealt with the Telephony Server side. Assign the
timer by ASYD SYS1, INDEX 474. When not assigned, default data 256 milliseconds is applied.
12. [S-127D] Serial Call - D cannot be used to the call termination via MG(PRI).
