CHAPTER 4
CONFIGURATION SETUP
(5) The LLDP Auto Setting is performed for each setting.
(6) The configuration data assigned to DT700 Series terminal is used until the LLDP data configured by the
LLDP Auto Setting is applied.
(7) For setting items with invalid data, the LLDP Auto Setting is not performed.
(8) The priority order of the Layer 2 configuration is as follows:
1. Telephony Server definition
2. LLDP Auto Setting
3. Configuration data assignment of DT700 Series terminal
Note:
Settings with lower priority are overridden by higher priority settings.
(9) Modification in the network configuration of the adjacent LLDP-capable device will cause changes in the
LLDP information received by DT700 Series, but this will not activate the LLDP Auto Setting. If you need
to modify the configuration data of DT700 Series, change the setting on the terminal or restart it.
(10) Changes in the configuration of the adjacent LLDP-capable device can disconnect communication between
the DT700 Series terminal and the Telephony Server. In this case, DT700 Series automatically restarts.
(11) Setting data configured by the LLDP Auto Setting are not stored in the flash memory, and will be lost by
turning the power off and on, or doing a hard or soft reset. In this case, perform the LLDP Auto Setting
again.
(12) The AutoConfig is implemented for the settings configured by the Configuration data assignment of
DT700 Series terminal after an IP address is allocated via DHCP, and then the DT700 terminal is reset. For
this reason, AutoConfig setting has a priority equal to that of the Configuration data assignment.
(13) Conditions for LAN port configuration/VLAN ID
To configure VLAN ID, DT700 Series needs to receive an LLDP packet containing one or more Network
Policy TLVs. VLAN ID is determined based on the received Network TLVs meeting the conditions below:
Note:
For TLV definition, refer to the relevant manuals.
Note:
This TLV definition will affect all types of packets (such as SIP, RTP, and HTTP) handled by DT700 Series.
