MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG]
After the MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] is rebooted, the following message appears on the Mainte-
nance Console.
Step5:
Connecting MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] to LAN and WAN
• Connect MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] to LAN and WAN.
Connect a cable to “LAN” connector (LAN side: Ether1 WAN side: Ether2) that is located on the
front panel of MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG].
Note:
Before connecting MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] to the network you actually use, make sure of
the following by using commands such as “ping”.
•Is not the IP address set to MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] already used in the network to be con-
nected?
•Is the newly set IP address correct?
When you have finished, the following message appears on the Maintenance Console.
Note:
Both LAN1 and LAN2 must be connected to make MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] online. (For a
one-port configuration, only LAN1 connection makes MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] online.)
Step6:
Checking the lamp status of LINK and SPEED at Ether1 and Ether2 of MG-SIP128 [MG-
128SIPMGG]
If the connection is established, the following LINK lamps of MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] will light
green in a few minutes.
Note:
For a one-port configuration, LINK lamp at Ether 2 connector does not light.
• Ether1 connector on LAN side: LINK lamp
• Ether2 connector on WAN side: LINK lamp
[SPEED lamp is lighting in orange]
“set sip_server” command.
if IP address of SIP proxy server has not been
assigned
“set keynumber” command.
if a pilot number has not been assigned
So, Config data is made a default setup.
Is it all right? Y/N=y
Select if you want to apply the default values
to the configuration data.
y: apply the default values
n: do not apply the default values
If other than the above is selected, the follow-
ing message is displayed.
“Reboot” command was interrupted.
