(4) Settings for LLDP and LLDP-MED features will be only valid after restarting the DT700 Series terminal.
(5) Transmission and reception of LLDP packets is performed after IEEE802.1X authentication.
(6) Settings for LLDP and LLDP-MED features are reset to default settings by clearing data (initialization, ter-
minal setting data).
(7) The following settings can be configured by the AutoConfig feature:
• LLDP Mode
• Auto Setting Mode
• RX Waiting Time
• Transmit Interval
• Hold Multiplier
• Fast Start Count
• Transparent Mode
(8) Regardless of the settings for the LLDP Mode, LLDP Transparent Mode is performed based on the setting
for the LLDP Transparent Mode.
(9) When the LLDP and the LLDP Auto Setting Modes are enabled, it may take some time to receive LLDP
data (15 seconds by default) before DT700 Series starts up.
(10) VLAN IDs cannot be assigned automatically to the PC port of DT700 Series by using the LLDP Auto Set-
ting Mode.
(11) The LLDP Auto Setting Mode will override the AutoConfig feature. Thus, even if performing the Auto-
Config may involve changes in the settings common to both of them, the settings made by the LLDP Auto
Setting will not be changed by the AutoConfig.
(12) Non-LLDP-capable switches and hubs relay LLDP packets. Switches that are LLDP-capable also relay
LLDP packets if they are set to relay LLDP packets. When such an LLDP-disabled device is located be-
tween LLDP-capable devices and DT700 Series, the DT700 Series will assume that LLDP information pro-
vided by the LLDP-capable device is the information about the one directly connected to itself.
