7. ARP Commands
ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) is a protocol to calculate a MAC
address from an IP address.
The Switching Hub sends an ARP request to devices on the same
network and manages a mapping between IP addresses and MAC
addresses in table data called an ARP table based on responses from
the devices.
An ARP table is usually created automatically (dynamic entry) but can also be written
manually (static entry). Dynamic entries are removed after a specified time (aging
time) without any access while static entries are retained until they are intentionally
removed.

Description
This command is used to enter an IP address and the corresponding MAC address into
the Switching Hub
