Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.

Create mirror group 3:
40.2. config mirror port
Description
This command is used to allow a range of ports to have all of their traffic also sent to a
designated port where a network sniffer or other device can monitor the network traffic.
In addition, you can specify that only traffic received by, sent by or both is mirrored to the
target port.
Format
config mirror port <port> {[add |delete] source ports <portlist> [rx | tx | both]}
Parameters
<value 1-4>
Enter the mirror group ID used here. This value must be between 1 and 4.

Command: create mirror group_id 3
Success.

<port>
Specify the port that will receive the packets duplicated at the mirror port.
add
(Optional) Specify the mirror entry to be added.
delete
(Optional) Specify the mirror entry to be deleted.
source ports
(Optional) Specify the ports that will be mirrored. All packets entering and leaving the
source port can be duplicated in the mirror port.
<portlist>
Specify a range of ports to be configured.
rx
(Optional) Allow the mirroring of only packets received (flowing into) the port or ports in
the port list.
tx
(Optional) Allow the mirroring of only packets sent (flowing out of) the port or ports in
the port list.
both
(Optional) Mirror all the packets received or sent by the port or ports in the port list.
