6. Access Control List (ACL) Commands
51
Protocol type
TCP/UDP port number
IPv6 traffic class, flow label
Any packet contents (specified with the packet byte offset and mask, up to four
contents)
In addition, you can create rules that define packet detail information and filtering
actions with IDs 1 to 256 for each profile.
Profiles and rules are applied in the order starting from the lowest ID
number.
You can also set the range of time to change rules applied according to the date and
time or day of the week.
To use the range of time, you need to correctly adjust the internal clock of
the Switching Hub. For the settings, refer to the sections in "75. Time and
SNTP Commands."
Applicable actions
The following actions can be applied to packets that match the rules.
Permit: Start transferring.
IEEE 802.1p priority, DSCP, and output packet IP priority can also be
changed.
Deny: Discard without transmitting.
Mirror: Copy packets and transfer them to a mirroring port set separately.
For the mirroring settings, refer to the sections in "Mirror Commands."
Counter: Record the number of packets that match.
Flow Meter
The function filters according to the number of bytes in a target packet. It allows you
to configure the thresholds of bandwidth and number of bytes and then apply
actions, such as transfer or discard, depending on whether the number of bytes in a
packet is within the threshold or not.
