23.8. clear fdb
Description
This command is used to clear the Switching Hub's forwarding database of all
dynamically learned MAC addresses.
Format
clear fdb [vlan <vlan_name 32> | port <port> | all ]
Parameters
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To clear all FDB dynamic entries:

Description
This command is used to display the contents of the Switching Hub's multicast
forwarding database.
Format
show multicast_fdb {[vlan <vlan_name 32> | vlanid <vidlist>] | mac_address
<macaddr>}
vlan
Specify the name of the VLAN on which the MAC address resides.
<vlan_name 32>
The maximum length is 32 characters.
port
Specify the port number corresponding to the dynamically learned MAC address.
<port>Specify the port number corresponding to the dynamically learned MAC address.
all
Specify to clear all VLANs and ports.
Zxxx0:admin#clear fdb all
Command: clear fdb all
Success.
