41.14. disable mld_snooping
Description
This command is used to disable MLD snooping on the Switching Hub. MLD snooping can
be disabled only if IPv6 multicast routing is not being used. Disabling MLD snooping allows
all MLD and IPv6 multicast traffic to flood within a given IPv6 interface.
Format
disable mld_snooping
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To disable MLD snooping on the Switching Hub:

Description
This command is used to display the current MLD snooping configuration on the Switching
Hub.
Format
show mld_snooping {[vlan <vlan_name 32> | vlanid <vlanid_list>]}
Parameters
Zxxx0:admin#disable mld_snooping
Command: disable mld_snooping
Success.
Zxxx0:admin#
vlan
(Optional) Specify the name of the VLAN for which to view the MLD snooping
configuration.
<vlan_name 32>
Specify the VLAN name. The maximum length is 32 characters.
