50. QoS Commands
464
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To configure port bandwidth:
50.2. show bandwidth_control
Description
This command is used to display the port bandwidth configurations. The bandwidth
can also be assigned by the RADIUS server through the authentication process. If the
RADIUS server has assigned the bandwidth, then the RADIUS-assigned bandwidth
will be the effective bandwidth.
Format
show bandwidth_control {<portlist>}
Parameters
If no parameter is specified, the system will display all port bandwidth
configurations.
tx_rate (Optional) Specify the limitation of transmit data rate.
no_limit
Specify to indicate there is no limit on port tx bandwidth.
<value 64-10240000>
Specify an integer value from 64 to 10240000 to set a maximum limit in Kbits/sec.
The specified bandwidth limit may be equaled but not exceeded. This exact
logical limit or token value is hardware determined. Note: 1 Kbit = 1000 bits, 1
Gigabit = 1000*1000 Kbits.
The displayed value calculates value using as following the calculation
formula. The decimal point is suppressed. So, The set range is just keep on the
multiple of 64. Actual rate = (inputted rate/ 64) * 64.
Zxxx0:admin#config bandwidth_control 1-10 tx_rate 1024
Command: config bandwidth_control 1-10 tx_rate 1024
Success.
Zxxx0:admin#
<portlist>(Optional) Specify a range of ports to be displayed.
