■
0 to 20 mA Inputs
When the resolution is 1/6,000, the 0 to 20 mA range corresponds to hexa-
decimal values 0000 to 1770 (0 to 6,000). The range of data that can be con-
verted is FED4 to 189C hex (–300 to 6,300).
A negative current is expressed as two’s complement.
When the resolution is 1/12,000, the 0 to 20 mA range corresponds to hexa-
decimal values 0000 to 2EE0 (0 to 12,000). The entire data range is FDA8 to
3138 hex (–600 to 12,600).
A negative current is expressed as a two’s complement.
■
4 to 20 mA Inputs
When the resolution is 1/6,000, the 4 to 20 mA range corresponds to hexa-
decimal values 0000 to 1770 (0 to 6,000). The range of data that can be con-
verted is FED4 to 189C hex (–300 to 6,300).
Current in the range of 3.2 to 4 mA is expressed as two’s complement.
If an input is below the range (i.e., less than 3.2 mA), the open-circuit detec-
tion function is activated and the data becomes 8,000.
When the resolution is 1/12,000, the 4 to 20mA range corresponds to hexa-
decimal values 0000 to 2EE0 (0 to 12,000). The entire data range is FDA8 to
3138 hex (–600 to 12,600).
Current in the range of 3.2 to 4 mA is expressed as two’s complement.
If an input is below the range (i.e., less than 3.2 mA), the open-circuit detec-
tion function is activated and the data becomes 8,000.
