Spire Over TCP/IP
The Spire Over TCP/IP application enables you to submit jobs from a
Macintosh client workstation using the Spire CXP6000 color server virtual
printers over a TCP/IP protocol. This connection provides a significantly
higher spooling speed.
Note:
Before you set up a network printer, make sure that you have installed the
Spire CXP6000 color server PPD file on your Macintosh client workstation, see
Copying the Spire CXP6000 color server PPD File for Mac OS 9
on page 67.
Important:
The TCP/IP settings on your Macintosh must match the Spire
CXP6000 color server TCP/IP network settings.
