3 - CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS

Turning the machine

1. Keep the machine in neutral for several seconds when

starting the machine. Change the gear in order to
move the machine in either forward or reverse

NOTE:

The crawler dozer will not move unless the

engine speed is at approximately

1200 RPM

or higher.

2. Push or pull the lever in the direction desired (right or

left) in either forward or reverse.

Hydrostatic drive speed

Use the up/down buttons to control the hydrostatic drive
speed. The two buttons marked with a hare (to increase
speed) and a tortoise (to decrease speed) can change the
speed of the machine from low to high.
The machine has 15 speed increments.

Increase track speed by pushing on the upper button
(hare)
