Switch overview and operation

1. Park brake switch

When turning the ignition key on, the park
brake will default to the ON position. The
park brake allows an operator to lock and
unlock ground drive control.

Engaging the park brake

Place the machine in neutral and stop the machine. En-
gage the park brake by pushing down on the top of the
switch. The park brake will automatically engage when
the machine is shut off.

NOTICE:

A failure in the operating procedure or a fail-

ure in the electrical or hydraulic function can result in an
abrupt engagement of the park brake. Always wear your
seat belt.

Releasing the park brake

Move the joystick to neutral, and press the park brake
button.
