Aligning the light beam

Step 3:

Adjust the mirror on post 2 until the beam hits the alignment
device in the center (between the two black points) on the
receiver.
The mirror on mirror post 2 is aligned.
Step 4:
1. Lock the alignment device into the receiver.
2. Align the receiver so that the beam hits the center of the mirror
on mirror post 2.
The receiver is aligned.
Step 5:
½
Align the second beam the same way, as described for steps 1-4.
Step 6:
1. Remove the cross-hairs from the mirror on the mirror post.
2. Clean the mirror again if necessary.
3. Switch on the machine.
4. Acknowledge the safety light barrier with the foot switch.
If the light barrier has been aligned correctly, the green LED on the
receiver illuminates, the light path is free, and the outputs are
active.
If the green LED does not illuminate:

Repeat the procedure.
