Operating safety
B337EN01.DOC
E-STOP triggers the following machine functions:
•
The power supply of the machine is interrupted (the 24 V
control voltage at the machine and laser is maintained).
•
Laser beam is switched off.
•
The beam trap is closed.
•
Axis motions stop.
•
The cutting gas supply is interrupted.
Manual programming of 3-D parts is carried out with the separate
teach panel. The teach panel is activated via the TEACH PANEL
KEY SWITCH on the control panel. The following functions are
automatically activated when the TEACH PANEL KEY SWITCH is
ON:
•
The machine axes can only be moved by means of the teach
panel.
•
The machine axes travel at reduced speed:
–
X axis: 10,000 mm/min.
–
Y axis: 10,000 mm/min.
–
Z axis: 10,000 mm/min.
–
B axis: 10 rpm (3600°/min).
–
C axis: 5 rpm (1800°/min).
–
A axis: 5 rpm (1800°/min).
•
Laser switches automatically to LASERTEST.
To be able to move the axes in automatic mode, the pulse trigger
switch must be permanently pressed. As soon as pressure is
released from the pulse trigger switch, a FEED STOP is triggered:
•
Stop the axes.
•
Cutting gas and protective gas supply is interrupted.
Suction unit and compact dust extractor
(filtering installation)
The extraction and filtration system provided by TRUMPF in
combination with the machine is arranged in such a way that when
the machine is used correctly, the aerosols and dust emitted are
efficiently separated out (see the section Hazardous substances).
The cleaning by the compact dust extractor (filtration system) of
those gases which occur during laser machining guarantees the
maintenance of the permitted values for maximum working place
concentration and technical regulations regarding compressed
gases.
