17.3 Performing parting cuts
The service program CP_TRIM_OFF.LST performs parting cuts in
the X or Y direction. Parting cuts are performed:
•
To separate a sheet.
•
To separate a sheet skeleton from a sheet.
Prerequisite
•
The machine is equipped for laser cutting.
•
The cutting optics have been installed, set up and selected.
•
Can only be applied to flat sheets.
•
Master file is split.
Additional equipment, tools, material
•
CP_TRIM_OFF.LST service program.
1. Position the cutting head.
2. Select >Operation >Set-up >MDA.
3. Enter B0 C0.
4. Press Start.
The B and C axes travel to 0.
5. Select >Operation > Production > Single job.
6. Select the program CP_TRIM_OFF.
7. Press START PROGRAM.
A dialog box appears.
8. Select a laser technology table.
9. Select a cutting direction.
Warning
The axes travel directly to the entered start position
immediately. Risk of collision in the working area of the
machine!
Considerable damage to property.

Observe the start position.
½
Edit the start position if necessary.
10. If needed: edit start position.
11. Press Continue.
12. Enter the length of the cut.
13. Press Approach start position.
The start position is approached.
14. Press Cut.
The parting cut is performed.
