Adjustment work on the welding head

Adjust the beam in Y direction:
–
Remove the fixing screws from the mirror carrier.
–
Carefully pull out the mirror carrier in a straight line.
–
Insert spacer washers of the appropriate thickness.
–
Insert mirror carriers and remove any leaking cooling
water.
–
Tighten the fixing screws hand-tight, while observing the
correct fitting of the O rings of the mirror cooling system.
Adjust the beam in X direction:
–
Undo the fixing screws on the mirror carrier.
–
Undo the hexagonal nut.
–
Adjust the adjusting screw.
–
Push the mirror carrier against the adjusting screw and
retighten the fixing screws hand-tight.
–
Retighten the hexagonal nut hand-tight.

Trigger the laser pulse again.
If the beam is off-center:

Readjust the beam. Repeat this procedure until the beam is
centered. Use a new adhesive strip each time.
The centering of the beam has been completed once the burned-in
hole and the scorched area on the adhesive strip are round and
concentric to the nozzle. The beam will hit the nozzle wall if the
hole and the surrounding area are oval.
