Cleaning orReplacement
Note: The protective glass must be cleaned daily. It
must be replaced if it is scratched or broken. The seam
sensor system can only function with precision when the
protective glass is in a perfect and clean condition.
When removing the protective glass make sure that no
dust gets inside the sensor body.

Cleaning and replacing protective glass:
1. Press FEED HOLD.
2.
Pus the protective glass out with a pin until it can be
taken out by hand.
3.
Remove the protective glass and clean using a cloth
and a glass-cleaning agent.
After cleaning:

Carefully push the protective glass into the lateral
guide until it stops.
