"Var. Attenuated"
Enables a precise digital attenuation of the signal. The level of the
baseband and the RF signal is attenuated by the value set with the
parameter
.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:MODE
I/Q Level Vp (EMF)
Variable output mode
Sets the output voltage for both signal components. Small differences at the inputs can
be taken into account via impairment settings (see
Chapter 5.7.1.4, "Impairment Set-
Single ended Output:
●
Value range: 1 mV ... 1.5 V EMF.
●
The maximum overall output voltage ("Level
EMF
" + |"Bias
EMF
"|) is 3.7 V.
Differential Output:
●
Value range: 2 mV ... 3 V EMF.
●
The maximum overall output voltage ("0.5" * "Level
EMF
" + |"Bias
EMF
"| + "0.5" * "Off-
set") is 3.7 V.
Remote command:
Digital Attenuation
Var. Attenuated mode
Attenuates the level of the baseband and the RF signal.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:POWer:DATTenuation
Couple IQ Bias
(Variable output mode only)
Activates/deactivates coupling of bias setting of the I-signal and Q-signal component.
For activated coupling, the setting can be made for the I-signal component, it automati-
cally applies to the Q-signal component as well. The fields for setting the Q-signal com-
ponent are shaded.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:BIAS:COUPling[:STATe]
Bias (EMF)
Sets the bias. A DC voltage is superimposed upon the I or Q signal. The maximum
overall voltage ("Level
EMF
" + "Bias
EMF
" + "Offset
EMF
") is 3.7 volts.
This way, the operating point of a DUT can be set.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:BIAS:I
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:OUTPut[:ANALog]:BIAS:Q
