Operating Manual 1176.8016.02 ─ 17
Parameters:
<Source>
INTernal | EXTernal | INT,EXT
INTernal
Uses the internally generated signal for modulation. To configure
the LF signal, use the commands of the
subsystem.
EXTernal
Uses an externally applied modulation signal.
INT,EXT
Uses both, the internal and external modulation signals.
*RST:
INT
Example:
PM:SOUR INT
selects the internal modulation source.
Manual operation:
See
[:SOURce<hw>]:PM:STATe
<State>
Activates phase modulation.
Note:
Activation of PM deactivates frequency modulation (FM).
Parameters:
<State>
0 | 1 | OFF | ON
*RST:
0
Example:
PM:STAT ON
activates PM.
Manual operation:
See
7.16.17 SOURce:POWer Subsystem
This subsystem contains the commands for setting the output level, level control and
level correction of the RF signal.
Other units can also be used instead of dBm:
●
by entering the unit directly after the numerical value (example
:POW 0.5V
)
●
by changing the DEFault unit in the
UNIT
system (see the command
