Connection Examples for Different Types of Motor Drives
This section provides examples of wiring the X and Y axes. If the Y and U axes
are also to be used, check the connector pin numbers in 3-3

cuitry
and wire them in the same way.
Note
1. Be sure to connect a power supply for unused N.C. input terminals and turn
them on.
2. Use shielded wire for connecting to stepping motor drives and servo motor
drives. Connect the shielded cable to an FG at both the PCU and the drive.
Example 1: Mode 0 Connection
This example shows the use of a stepping motor with an external sensor signal
connected to the origin input signal.
