press the Enter key to continue.
c. Continue the conversion from step 6 in section 14.9.
If the XC1000 was not at the SMT Main Menu when it was
disconnected, perform the following steps:
a. At the C:\FCP> prompt, type fcpconv and press the
Enter key.
b. At the FCP conversion Main Menu (Figure 14-4), select
option 3. SMT Emulation . A screen appears, requesting
confirmation of the SMT emulation parameters, with
default values that can be toggled with the space bar.
c. Press the End key when done. The screen blanks.
d. Press the
Enter
key again, and the
ENTER BOOT
COMMAND: prompt appears. Boot the XC1000 with a 0
(zero).
e. When the PC screen displays the Please Enter System
Manager Password: prompt, enter the system manager
password, then press the Enter key.
f. Press the F12 key. At the FCP conversion Main Menu
(Figure 14-4), select option 2. Perform/Continue
Conversion , and press the Enter key. When the screen
displays
“... Stopped at stage #: 10 Continue the
Conversion (Y/N): Y,” press the Enter key to continue.
g. Continue the conversion from step 6 in section 14.9.
11. The automatic script runs for a short time (less than 5 minutes); the
script verifies that the engineering bit is set and that system-drive 1 is
larger than or equal to system-drive 0. Also, the script checks that the
upgrade software files are compatible with the voice-processing-module
type, software releases, languages and phrases. If all verifications are
compatible, the Final confirmation before conversion screen appears.
Skip to step 12.
If any of the verifications are incompatible, the screen displays the
following error message:
“*** Conversion is not allowed ***” and a
reason that the conversion is not allowed. The error message also
includes supporting release information for the discrepancy. Possible
reasons for not allowing a conversion are as follows:
System type is different.
Voice-processing module software release is not in the supported
list.
Language type is not supported.
Phrase UPG is not supported.
Language type is not valid.
Phrase UPGs are duplicated.
