SST Loading.
In the rare case where the SST does not load correctly,
immediately call the Octel Communications Technical Assistance Center.
6.2.6.2
Card-Configuration Test.
The CPU sends a broadcast control-bus
message to all cards in the XC1000, directing them to identify themselves.
The card configuration is displayed after the file card and DLCs respond to
the CPU message. Figure 6-10 shows the card configuration on the IPL3
screen, in the
CARD CONFIGURATION:
field.
The card configuration displayed represents the physical location of the
cards in the XC1000 cabinet. The CPU does not report its own location in
the card configuration. Only the monitor card, file cards, and DLC loca-
tions are displayed. TICs are not represented in the card configuration
because they are not connected to the data or control buses.
