STATUS LOG
7-18
Edition One
XC1000 Service
The offsets associated with status-codes 70 and 72 are as follows:
Offsets 18 and 19.
The IORB peripheral address identifies the card
with which the CPU was communicating at the time of the error. Check
offsets 18 and 19, transpose the bytes, and refer to Figure 7-19 and
Table 7-2.
0100 = 0001

OFFSETS
18 AND 19
Figure 7-19. Example of Destination-Card
Address for Status-Codes 70 and 72.
Using the example in Figure 7-19, the bank,
0
in the
Bank
column of
Table 7-2, and the slot,
1
in the
Slot
column of Table 7-2, indicate
that the affected card slot in XC1000 is slot 2 (
Physical Slot
column
of Table 7-2) in cabinet 1. In a nonredundant system, the indicated
card is the message file. In a redundant system, the indicated card is
the system file, side B.
Offset 36.
The CB message type (Table 7-5) is reported in offset 36.
The message-type value shown in Figure 7-18 is
1A
, decrement use
count, which means to reduce by one the number of messages
contained in a mailbox. In other words, the subscriber (or XC1000)
has deleted a message.
Offset 37.
The drive number is reported in the high-order (left-most)
nibble.
Offset 47.
Offset 47 contains a return code that indicates the reason
the file card could not perform its function. Refer to Table 7-9 for a
list of offset 47 values.
Table 7-9. Return Codes for
Status-Codes 70 and 72.
