6.3.3.1
Disk Space Low.
If disk space is low, refer the problem to an Octel
Communications sales representative so that an additional drive can be
purchased. As a temporary measure until the drive-space issue can be
remedied, instruct the system manager to send a broadcast message to all
subscribers requesting that they purge all unneeded messages.
6.3.3.2
Status-Log Space Low.
If the status-log space is low, perform the
following:
1. Print out the status log and clear it.
2. Return to menu 13.8, Review Current Alarm Status screen.
3. Print out the current menu 13.8 and clear all alarms.
Refer to section 5.2 for information about printing menu 13.8 and the
status log. If any problems still exist, contact the next level of mainte-
nance or call the Octel Communications Technical Assistance Center.
6.3.3.3
CDR Space Low.
If CDR space is low, download the data. CDR data
should be downloaded when the CDR buffer becomes 30% to 50% filled
with new CDR records. Refer to the
Call Detail Records Manual
for detailed
instructions about CDR data collection.
6.3.3.4
Noncritical Status-Log Entry.
This alarm indicates that a noncritical
event was logged in the status log. Print and then clear the status log. The
alarm can usually be ignored, and the status log reviewed at the next
scheduled printout. If the alarm recurs often, print the status log using the
information in section 5.2. Refer to Chapter Seven for a detailed descrip-
tion of the status codes.
6.3.3.5
Yellow Temperature Alarm.
The yellow temperature alarm occurs when
the temperature in the logic bay or drive bay reaches 110
o
F (45
o
C), or the
ambient temperature in the logic bay reaches 95
o
F (35
o
C). Perform the
