For DVMRP and GRE tunnels in Interface Configuration mode:

For IPSec tunnels in Interface Configuration mode:

For DVMRP and GRE tunnels in IP PIM Data MDT Configuration mode and in IP
Tunnel Destination Profile Configuration mode:

Description
In Interface Configuration mode, configures the source for a DVMRP, GRE, or IPSec
tunnel. The
no
version deletes the tunnel source.
In IP Tunnel Destination Profile Configuration mode, configures the source in the
destination profile for dynamic IP tunnels. The
no
version deletes the tunnel source.
In IP PIM Data MDT Configuration mode, configures the source in the IP PIM Data
MT profile for multicast VPNs. The
no
version deletes the tunnel source.
Options

ipAddress
—IP address of an existing interface that will serve as the tunnel’s
source
■
interfaceType
—Interface type; see Interface Types and Specifiers on page 5
■
interfaceSpecifier
—Particular interface; format varies according to interface type;
see Interface Types and Specifiers on page 5
■
fqdn
—Fully qualified domain name of the interface to serve as the tunnel’s source;
a maximum of 80 characters
