Description
Discovers the paths that router packets follow when traveling to their destinations.
There is no
no
version.
Options
■
vrfName
—Name of the VRF context; string of 1–32 alphanumeric characters
■
ipv6—Specifies the destination address as IPv6 format
■
destination
—IP address, IPv6 address, or domain name of the trace
■
hopLimit
—Maximum number of hops of the trace in the range 1–255; default
value is 32
■
maxTTLCount
—Maximum number of hops of the trace in the range 1–255;
default value is 32
■
timeOutVal
—Time in seconds to wait for trace responses in the range 1–20;
default value is 2
■
sizeValue
—Number of bytes comprising the IP packet and reflected in the IP
header in the range 0–64000
■
source interface—Specifies an interface as the source for the transmitted packets
■
interfaceType
—Interface type; see Interface Types and Specifiers on page 5
■
interfaceSpecifier
—Particular interface; format varies according to interface
type; see Interface Types and Specifiers on page 5

source address—Specifies an IP address as source for the transmitted packets
