The following tables list the screw size of terminal and recommended torque for tightening for
each of the SJ700
2
inverter models (400V models are on the next page).
CAUTION:
Fasten the screws with the specified fastening torque in the table below. Check for
any loosening of screws. Otherwise, there is the danger of fire.
Note 1:
The recommended ring lug connector listing consists of wire size – screw size
format. The wire sizes are in AWG or mm
2
format. For AWG wire sizes, bolt sizes
for the ring lug centers are: #10, #12, 1/4”, 5/16”, and 1/2”. For metric wire sizes,
bolt sizes for the ring lug centers are: 6 = 6M, 8 = 8M, 10 = 10M.
Note 2:
Prepackaged square washer is to be used when the bare wire is directly connected to
terminal without using crimp contact (such as ring lug connector).
Note 3:
[N] terminal for braking unit is common to [N] terminal of power lines.
TIP:
AWG = American Wire Gauge. Smaller numbers represent increasing wire thickness.
