You may wish to change the Name and/or the Description to assist with identifying the phone eg its
physical location etc. This name is used by a User’s Initial Phone field to indicate the IP phone to which
they are assigned. The User field displays the name of the User assigned to this port. Click on the name
within the User field to view this User. Use the Cancel button to return to the IP Phone.
A list of which IP Phones have been assigned to which Users is available within Manager Assist by
selecting System Utilities and then Sorted Lists. This feature will also highlight a record where an IP
Phone has been assigned to more than one User in error.
The following options can also be configured. Please note that a PCS 410/400 must be rebooted to
activate any change of configuration.

Partner Login Code
A 1-8 digit access code, eg 1234, is required in this field:

If this phone is assigned to or will be log on to by a User configured as a Vision Call Centre Agent
and/or will be using the Vision Supervisor Console software. This entry must match the User’s
Remote Working Code. For further information please refer to the Vision Call Centre configuration
manual.
