Installation and Maintenance Manual v4/0615/10

Licences summary

In summary, the licences available on a maximiser system are as follows:

Licence Name

Description

5108Plus

Increases the number of Users supported by a 5108 Call Server to 12. The

maximum number of analogue users stays at four however the IP phone users

can increase to 8, or in an IP only environment all 12 users could be IP phone

users. Note that the additional users will also need an IPUser Licence.

ESPSession

Enables a single Enhanced Speech Processing channel on the internal or

external voicemail application to facilitate the use of the Extended Attendant,

VXML Scripts, Ring Back when Free, and Vision Position in Queue and Estimated

Time To Answer announcements. One licence per concurrent call, the licence

will be released once the call has been answered.

iPCS

Enables the use of the iPCS application. One licence per User.

IPUser

Enables the ability to create a User account that will be assigned to a physical

handset or used to log on to a physical handset. This includes a soft phone.

One licence per User.

IPVirtualUser

Enables the ability to create a User account that will not be assigned to a

physical handset or used to log on to a physical handset. One licence per

virtual User.

MessageBox

Enables voicemail functionality for a User or Department. One licence per User

or Department.

OCS

Enables the use of the interface, written by the Spider Group, between the

maximiser and Microsoft Office Communications Server. Full instructions will

be given on the purchase of this service.

OperatorConsole

Enables the use of the PCS Operators Console application or

PCS 58x/57x/56x/60 Operator Console mode. One licence per User.

POTS

Enables the use of an analogue extension port on the 5100 Call Server. One

per port.

In order for the S8000/S716 soft PBX to run one of the following licences must

be installed:
To support up to 40 Users and 68 Trunks
To support up to 250 Users and 68 Trunks
To support up to 500 Users and 68 Trunks
To support up to 1000 Users and 120 Trunks
For training and demonstration use.

S8004 Starter Pack

Also provides 8 x IPUser, 8 x MessageBox, 2 x Voicemail Ports, 4 x Trunks and

2 x iPCS.

S716

In order for the S716 soft PBX to run this licences must be installed and will

support up to 16 Users and 15 Trunks.

S716 Starter Pack

Also provides 5 x IPUser, 5 x MessageBox, 2 x Voicemail Ports, 2 x Trunks and 2

x iPCS.
