As such, all these tasks will dynamically consume Voicemail Port channels. Please take this into account
when planning capacity for your requirements.

Voicemail Licensing
VoicemailPort licence
Each S8002, S716, NSG and 5108 are supplied with 2 simultaneous connections to voicemail, and the
5100 Call Server is supplied with 4 simultaneous connections. This capacity can be expanded via the
purchase and installation of VoicemailPort licences (the S8000 can support up to 250 connections, the
S716 up to 15, the 5100 up to 16, and the 5500 NSG and 5108 can support up to 8 connections). One
licence per port/channel.
Once additional VoicemailPort licences have been installed the additional number of channels must be
entered within Capacity field of the relevant VoicemailPort.
This licence will also facilitate the use of the Voice Processing application run on a standalone Linux PC or
server.
MessageBox licence
Each User and Department on the system can be configured to use the voicemail functionality. To
activate this use a MessageBox licence must be purchased, installed and assigned to the User or
Department.
When purchasing a Call Server or soft PBX licence the following number of MessageBox licences are
provided:

S8004 licence will be provided with 2 MessageBox licences
x
S716 licence will be provided with 2 MessageBox licences
x
A 5100 Call Server will be provided with 10 MessageBox licences
x
A 5108 Call Server will be provided with 5 MessageBox licences
x
5500 NSG will be provided with 2 MessageBox licences
x
A 4100 Call Server will be provided with 30 MessageBox licences,
x
A 4140 Remote Call Server is provided with 10 MessageBox licences.
Additional MessageBox licences can be purchased up to a maximum of 1,200 on a S8000, 20 on a S716,
600 on a 5100, 300 on a NSG and 20 on 5108 Call Server.
