Please note:

The Company field in a Contact bears no relation to the Companies feature of the system. This is

purely the name of the business in which the Contact works. For information on creating Contacts

for use with the Companies feature please refer to page 177.

Please refer to page 275 for details on how to import or export a Contacts database.

Directory Search
Each Contact created will be listed in the Contacts Directory via Navigate, a PCS 60, 50, 100, 410/400, 542,

55x and 58x/57x/56x (unless Ex Directory is ticked). When a User makes a search for a Contact the search

will use the text in the Name field in chronological order. However, the First and Last Name fields within

the Organisation page enable a directory search for this Contact via their first name or surname

(supported on Navigate v1.0.74 and above, PCS IP Phones v4 and above, and PCS 60 for Mac v3.3.9 and

above).

The phone numbers displayed can be used for quick dialling. The address details of the Contact entered

within the Organisation page can also be viewed via Navigate and a PCS 60, 50, PCS 58x and 410/400.
