External Monitor

Setting up the External Monitor involves a connection and a few touch screen selections. It's a hot swap
connection, so there's no need to restart the instrument once you've connected.

1.

Plug your external monitor (WPZi-EXTDISP15 option) display into the

DVI

and

DC 12

connections on the

PCI slot (located on the side of the oscilloscope). Connect your

USB

plug (where applicable) to an

available port (also on the side of the instrument).

Note:

To connect a standard VGA monitor, connect to the VGA Port.

2.

Turn on the oscilloscope, let the instrument boot and then touch

Display

Display Setup...

from the

menu bar.

3. Touch

the

Monitor

tab and then the

Enable External Monitor

button.

4. Touch

inside

the

Brightness

field and adjust brightness as necessary.
