Restarting the Application

Upon initial power-up, the oscilloscope automatically loads the instrument application software. If you exit the
application and want to reload it, touch the shortcut icon on the desktop:

.

If you minimize the application, touch the appropriate task bar or desktop icon to maximize it:

.

Restarting the Operating System

If you need to restart the Windows® operating system, reboot the oscilloscope by pressing and holding in the
power switch for 10 seconds, then turning the power on again.

Removable Hard Drive

Not available for all scope models, the removable hard drive option replaces the standard internal hard drive with
a removable hard drive that is installed at the rear of the scope, in the slot normally occupied by the CD-ROM
drive. The kit includes two hard drives, which can be used interchangeably. It also includes a USB CD-ROM for
loading of new software.

Caution – The Removable Hard Drive Is Not Hot Swapable

To avoid damage to the drive or the oscilloscope, shut off power to the instrument before inserting or removing
the hard drive. Make sure the protective cover is on the drive at all times.
