Preparations Prior to Test Operation
Once installation work is complete, conduct the following preparations prior to the test operation.
5.1.1 Charging Additional Refrigeration Oil
Charging with additional refrigeration oil is only required when 3 booster units are connected. (When there are only 1 or
2 booster units connected, additional charging is not required.)
(1) Additional charging volumes
(2) Procedure for charging refrigeration oil
<Items to prepare>
Waste cloth
Refrigeration oil (DAPHNE FVC68D) 1 liter can
Weighing scales

6.4 piping 0.5 to 1 m
(one side: with a service port connection adaptor attachment)
<Precautions prior to charging>
Any moisture in the refrigeration oil will dissolve quickly if exposed to air, so be particularly
careful not to expose the refrigeration oil to air.
Any leftover oil should be disposed of appropriately as waste.
Piping and other fittings must be R-410A-specific.
