4) Maintenance 4: Maintenance of refrigeration showcase
Continuous operation possible in air-conditioner
1. Turn the outdoor unit operation switch OFF. Turn the outdoor unit power OFF, the booster
unit operation switch OFF and the booster unit power OFF. Turn the refrigeration/freezer
showcase power OFF.
2. Turn the outdoor unit main DIP switch 2-6 ON and switch to refrigeration forced stop mode.
3. Turn the outdoor unit power ON and the operation switch ON.
4. Close stop valve D and maintenance valves G, F and H (if there is no valve H, close C1). (Be
cautious of liquid obstructions in the booster connection pipes. For prevention, remove a
small amount of refrigerant in the onsite connection pipes from valve G (As a guideline,
remove approximately 20% of refrigerant from the refrigeration-side liquid pipe portion)
5. Recover refrigerant from stop valve H (if there is no valve H, recover from C1) and D.
(
framed portion)
∗
Check WET/DRY of the moisture indicator. If indicating WET, replace the dryer positioned
on the onsite pipe. For dryer replacement on onsite liquid pipelines refer to maintenance 7.
6. Conduct air tight test.
7. Conduct evacuation via stop valve D and H (if there is no valve H, via C1).
8. Fill as much refrigerant as possible from maintenance valve H. After evacuation is complete,
add refrigerant and refrigerant oil using the charging cylinder from H (if there is no H, from
C1). (If the refrigerant was recovered in liquid form, filling of additional refrigerant oil of 5%
the recovery volume is required.)
9. Turn the outdoor unit operation switch OFF. Turn the outdoor unit power OFF and turn the
outdoor unit main DIP switch 2-6 OFF as well.
10.Turn the outdoor unit power, refrigeration showcase and booster unit power ON. Turn the
operation switch of the outdoor unit and booster unit ON. (If using a remote switch, turn to
remote.)
11.Fill the portion recovered with additional refrigerant.
