7) Maintenance 7: Dryer maintenance
Continuous operation possible in air-conditioner
1. Turn the outdoor unit operation switch OFF. Turn the outdoor unit power OFF, the booster
unit operation switch OFF and the booster unit power OFF. Turn the refrigeration/freezer
showcase power OFF.
2. Close stop valves C1, D1 and H (if there is no valve H, use the solenoid valve of the
showcase as an alternative).
If there is a valve H, you do not have to close D1.
(Be cautious of liquid obstructions in the connection pipes. Furthermore, in order to prevent
any liquid obstruction, remove a small amount of refrigerant in the onsite connection pipe
from valve H. (As a guideline, remove approximately 20% of refrigerant from the
refrigeration-side liquid pipe portion))
3. Recover refrigerant from stop valve C1. (
framed portion)
4. Conduct air tight test.
5. Conduct evacuation via stop valve C1.
6. Fill as much refrigerant as possible from C1.
7. After evacuation is complete, open stop valves C1, D1 (if there is a valve H, D1 will already
be open), and H (only if H is present).
8. Turn the outdoor unit power ON, and turn the outdoor unit operation switch ON. (If using a
remote switch, turn to remote.)
Turn the booster unit power ON, and turn the booster operation switch ON. (If using a
remote switch, turn to remote.)
Turn the refrigeration/freezer showcase power ON.
9. Fill the portion recovered with additional refrigerant.
