With the micro-computer, check whether there is transmission between the outdoor units.

Conditions

When transmission is not carried out normally for a certain amount of time

Defective outdoor unit PCB

Improper connection of transmission wiring between outdoor unit main PCB and sub PCB

DIP switch 2-1 of sub PCB are ON.

Troubleshooting

Fix the outdoor units multi
connection transmission wiring
and reset power.

Is there any broken

wire or erroneous

wire connection in the
communication wiring

of multi outdoor unit

system?

Turn DS2-1 of sub PCB (A2P)
OFF.

DS2-1 of sub PCB (A2P) is ON

YES

Wiring between inside - outside
(F1, F2) to outdoor unit main
PCB (A1P).

Wired between indoor -

outdoor (F1, F2) of sub

PCB (A2P)

The cool/heat unified address
for outdoor units in outdoor -
outdoor unit transmission is
duplicated. Set the address
correctly.

Caution

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting connectors, or parts may be damaged.
