3. If completing the steps above do not resolve the problem,
replace the main board and DC power-supply cable.
The main circuit board has its own internal diagnostics.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Before conducting the following procedure, turn off the
gun selector switch to prevent the valves from firing.
OTHERWISE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO
EQUIPMENT COULD OCCUR. (Figure 10-5)
To perform internal diagnostics on the circuit card, follow these steps:
1. Locate the dip switch (SW12) in the top right corner of the main
board (Figure 10-4). Place the “ENC” and “SCAN” switches into
the up (TST) position. The “ENC” LEDS (D1 and D2) should
illuminate, the “SCAN” LED should blink, and the “RATIO” LED
(D6) should illuminate.
2. If the “ENC” LEDS (D1 and D2) do not illuminate and the
“SCAN” LED does not blink, replace the main board.
3. If the “RATIO” LED (D6) does not illuminate, do the following:
3a. Ensure that the U2 module is firmly seated in the
socket.
3b. Ensure that there is a “Ratio Comp” setting on
switches SW1, SW3, SW4, SW5, SW16 (e.g.,
1.0000).
