This section contains information about how to perform initial setup of the
VC350AG AutoGlue Control system.

To set up the glue delivery system, follow these steps:

1.

Stop the parent machine.

2.

With the supply hose removed from the glue valve, run adhesive
through the system until no air is present in the glue line.

A smooth flow of glue should exit the
shutoff valve for one minute.

3.

To remove any trapped air in the fluid regulator, turn the “T”
handle clockwise completely.

4.

Turn the “T” handle counterclockwise completely.

5.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 twice.

6.

Set the fluid regulator to 10 psi (1.7 bar) for contact applications,
or 20 psi (2.4 bar) for non-contact applications.

7.

Install the glue hose with shutoff valve onto the glue valve.

1.

Using 3/8” poly tubing, connect the shop air to the air filter
regulator input.

2.

Using the same 3/8” poly tubing, connect the air filter regulator
output to the EPC input port on the VC350AG control manifold.

3.

Using 1/4” poly tubing, connect the output port of the VC350AG
manifold to the top rear brass fitting on the top of the Fluid
Balancing Regulator. Turn on the shop air to the control.

4.

With the parent machine stopped, check the air pressure from
the air filter regulator to the VC350AG input. Set this input
pressure to 60 psi when using air actuated valves, like the MAC
366 series. Set the input pressure to 80 psi if using an electric
actuated valve, such as the 400EZ or 900 series.
