The VC350AG is shipped with a wall-type mounting bracket. The unit can be
mounted to almost any flat surface on the operator side of the parent
machine, provided that there is sufficient space and easy access to the
control. You should also position the control in a place with minimum
vibration. The control should require less than 25 feet of wiring to reach the
glue station, sensor, and encoder.
To install the control, follow these steps:
1. Install wall-mounting rail to machine wall.
2. Install ¼-20 x 1.5” socket head capscrew into wall-mounting rail.
3. Use the ¼-20 x ½” socket head capscrews to install cabinet-
mounting rail to the upper set of mounting holes in the rear of the
cabinet.
4. Make sure slot in the rail is facing away from the cabinet.
5. Use ¼-20 x ½” socket head capscrews to install mounting
spacers (2) to the lower set of holes in the rear of the cabinet.
6. Slide cabinet rail over the wall rail so mounting rails interlock.
7. Tighten ¼-20 x 1.5” socket head capscrew to secure rails.
8. (Optional) Additional holes can be drilled into machine wall to
secure the two mounting spacers to the wall as well.
CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! CAUTION! Do not use screws longer than 1/2" to mount the
cabinet-mounting rail and the mounting spacers to the
rear of the cabinet. USING LONGER SCREWS WILL
DAMAGE THE CABINET.
