Section 6 - Installation

MC060 Manual/VC350AG AutoGlue Control System

To fire two valves with identical PSP
patterns, switch JP1 on the valve driver
board to the 1-2 position. A second
valve and valve cable will be needed for
this. This can only be done in the PSP
mode!

To install two glue valves dispensing different patterns, follow these steps:

Gun 1, channel I = valve 1. Gun 2,
channel II = valve 2.

1.

Connect glue valve cables to Valve 1 and Valve 2 (see Figure 6-
14).

2.

Set JP1 on the main board to the SC2 position. If two scanners
are used, set JP1 to the SC1 position (scanner 1 controls
channel I, scanner 2 controls channel II).

3.

Set SW6 on the channel II board to the P-S-P position (down).

4.

Set SW7 on the channel II board to the CH2 position (up).

5.

The gun selector switch should be plugged into J36 on the
channel II board.
