Used to set the start point of the glue pattern. Values can be 
entered up to 99.99 inches for imperial systems (9999 
millimeters for metric systems)

Glue switches (end of pattern) 

 

Used to set the point at which the glue pattern will end. Values 
can be entered up to 99.99 inches for imperial (9999 
millimeters for metric systems)

Sensor (cell)-to-gun LED 

 

When illuminated, this LED indicates that the product has been 
seen by the scanner. The measuring cycle is in progress.

“On flap” LED 

 

When illuminated, this LED indicates that the product has 
reached the applicator head but gluing has not yet started. 

5 

“Glue enable” LED 

 

 

When illuminated, this LED indicates that the glue-enable 
signal is present to the valve-driver board to turn on the glue 
valve. 

Note

!  The LED will illuminate even below minimum speed, 

even though there is no glue present. 

6 

Product counter (optional) 

Indicates the number of products that have passed under the 
scanner. 

7 

Fluid-flow-control adjustment knob 

Allows for fine adjustment of glue volume. Changes are seen 
on the front-panel gauge.

Valve-selector switch 

 

Allows for the selection of valve 1, valve 2, or both. When 
both switches are off, the valve does not fire, even though the 
glue-enable LED is flashing. One or both valve-selector 
switches must be illuminated in order to apply glue when the 
glue-enable LED is flashing. 

9 

Fluid-flow-control pressure gauge 

Indicates boost of air pressure added to preset pressure of glue 
regulator. Can be adjusted using fluid-flow-control adjustment 
knob. 

10 

“Power-on” LED 

When illuminated, this LED indicates that power is on.
