Potentiometer Setting Condition
P1 On delay With SW2-1 in the up position, pot will
adjust valve on delay from 0-17 ms.
P2
Off delay With SW2-3 in the up position, pot will
adjust valve off delay from 0-17 ms.
P5 Minimum
speed
Clockwise (CW) adjustment – higher
minimum speed before glue enable
Counterclockwise (CCW) adjustment –
lower minimum speed before glue
enable
P6 Dump time With JP3 in the “old” position, pot will
adjust dump-valve off time after
machine goes below minimum speed
(0 – 10 seconds).
P7 Hot-melt

When running a hot-melt system,
adjustment will lower 0-10 VDC analog
out to hot-melt speed
Table 10-4. Main Board Potentiometer Adjustments
To ensure that main-board voltage is present, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the power switch while the parent machine is not
running and ensure that the front-panel power indicator on the
front panel is illuminated (Figure 10-5).
2. If indicator is not illuminated, insert a red DVM probe into TP5
and a black DVM probe into TP4 on the main board (Figure 10-
4). The meter should read +5V + 0.2V. If it does not read +5V +
0.2V, do the following:
2a. Ensure that the main panel supply to the control is
on and that the unit is plugged in.
2b. Ensure that the transformer power-entry cable is
plugged in.
2c. Check the main power fuse in the power entry
module.
2d. Check the fuse on the +5/+12V power supply.
2e. Ensure that both the transformer cable to the power
supply and the power supply cable to the main
board at J10 are properly connected.
