Minimum-Speed Potentiometer

For manual mode only. To adjust the minimum-speed potentiometer (Figure 7-8), follow these steps:

1. Place selector switch in the manual position.

2. Set the glue-flow knob on the hot-melt unit to the full counterclockwise position.

3. Adjust the minimum speed potentiometer to the desired motor speed. (A clockwise rotation will increase

the motor speed.)

Maximum-Speed Potentiometer

For manual mode only. To adjust the maximum-speed potentiometer (Figure 7-9), follow these steps:

1. Place the selector switch in the manual position.

2. Set the glue flow knob on the hot-melt unit to the full clockwise position.

3. Adjust the maximum speed potentiometer to the desired motor speed. (A clockwise rotation will increase

the motor speed.)
