Section 4 - General Adhesive Guidelines

MC060 Manual/VC350AG AutoGlue Control System

•

Always use a good machineable grade of adhesive. You will
have fewer problems if the adhesive does not shear. Shearing
adhesive can be responsible for clogged glue valves, clogged
applicator heads, and clogged nozzles.

•

Never use latex or starch adhesives.

•

Never use adhesives with extenders (fillers).

•

Do not mix resin-based and dextrin-based adhesives. Always
check adhesive compatibility before mixing.
