Rimontaggio valvole
Note
Nelle immagini la testa è
sprovvista di bilanciere di apertura,
ma l’operazione è possibile anche con
quest’ultimo montato.
Posizionare le valvole (16) e (17) sulla
testa.
Utilizzando due cacciaviti bloccare il
bilanciere di chiusura (18) in posizione
di valvola aperta.
Inserire nello stelo valvola (16) il
registro di chiusura (8) con il lato di
diametro maggiore rivolto verso il
bilanciere.
Posizionare i due semianelli (7) di
fermo sullo stelo valvola.
Rimuovere i due cacciaviti e
posizionare il bilanciere di chiusura
(18) in condizione di riposo.
Con la valvola in condizione di riposo
e contrastando la forza della molla di
ritorno spingendo sul bilanciere,
verificare che il gioco tra pattino del
bilanciere e registro di chiusura sia
quello prescritto (Sez. N 4.1).
In caso contrario eseguire la
registrazione gioco valvola (Sez.
N.4.1).
Refitting the valves
Note
The figures show the head after
removing the opening rocker arm but
the operation can be carried out even
though not removed.
Fit the valves (16) and (17) into the
head.
Use two screwdrivers to hold the
closing rocker arm (18) in the position
at which the valve is open.
Locate the closing shim (8) to the
valve stem (16) with the larger
diameter facing the rocker arm.
Fit the split rings (7) to the valve stem.
Remove the two screwdrivers and
place the closing rocker arm (18) in
the rest position.
With the valve in the rest position,
push on the rocker arm to counteract
return spring action and check
clearance between rocker arm sliding
shoe and closing shim (Sect. N 4.1).
If clearance is outside the specified
limit, adjust valve clearance (Sect.
N.4.1).
